Privacy.
Short version: this website collects nothing, and the product stores the least it can to bill you correctly and hand your agent its video back.
This website
No analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising cookies, no session recording. The two typefaces are served from this domain rather than a font CDN, so loading a page here does not announce your visit to a third party. Nothing on this site sets a cookie.
The product
When your agent calls circ, these are the records that exist:
- Your API key, plus the credit balance and free-tier flags attached to it. The key is the account — circ does not ask for a name.
- What you send to make an ad: the reference ad URL, your offer text, the approved lock, and any product images you attach.
- A job record: lane, price, status, any named defects, timings, the paths to the finished video and its receipt, and the webhook URL if you gave one.
- Daily counts of remixes and orders per key, which is how the rate caps work.
- Revision notes, kept word for word. When you ask for a change, that sentence is what the next version is built from, so it is stored as you wrote it.
- Ad results, only if you send them. Spend, impressions, clicks and conversions, one row per ad per account per day. This is off by default — nothing arrives unless your agent posts it, or you connect an ad account and ask circ to pull it.
- An ad-account connection, only if you make one. The access token is encrypted before it is written down, is only ever used to read performance figures for ads circ made for you, and is destroyed the moment you disconnect. circ stores a scrambled handle for the account rather than the account number itself.
There is no advertising profile, no cross-site identifier, and nothing is sold or shared for marketing.
Who else touches it
Making an ad means calling model providers. Your reference ad and offer are sent to the provider handling that step — video generation, voice, and the review models that judge the cut — and to stock libraries when a shot routes to real footage. Payment details, when billing is live, are handled by the payment processor and never reach circ's servers. Hosting runs on a third-party platform.
How long it is kept
Finished videos are kept. They are not regenerable — making the same ad twice does not produce the same film — so circ does not delete the one you approved. Its receipt, its plan and your revision notes are kept with it, and job records persist as billing history.
What does get deleted is the working material: the raw clips, the takes that were rejected and the frames the review models looked at. Those are cleared about two weeks after a job finishes.
Ask and everything tied to your account is deleted — jobs, videos, notes, any results you sent, and any ad-account connection. Write to the address below.
Training
Your briefs and finished ads are not used to train models. What circ does learn from is aggregate: which formats and structures pass review, never your copy, your offer, or your results attached to you.
If you send results, the same line holds. Circ learns things like "a blunt opening beats a friendly one in this category" — patterns across many advertisers, with no one advertiser identifiable in them. Your spend, your cost per acquisition and your winning ad are yours; they are never shown to another customer, and never used as an example.
